Caccia Casetta @ Villa Bonicelli is the most recent project at Borgo Bonicelli, a conversion of the lower floor and cellar of L’Antico that sleeps 2 people in self-contained style. It is situated in Villa Bonicelli, a picturesque and peaceful hamlet in the heart of the Appennini mountains of Emilia Romagna. The property is well equipped, comfortably furnished and boasts absolutely stunning views of the mountains and the river Dolo valley. 
It’s an ideal spot for couples looking for a romantic hideaway, but larger groups can rent it in conjunction with L’Antico Palazzo (sleeps 10), Casa Vigneto (sleeps 6-7) and La Stalla (sleeps 2 -3), our other properties in the hamlet. The outdoor swimming pool, shared between all properties and situated a few paces away, is in a sheltered position and looks out over the mountains.
The property consists of two floors with exposed beams and stonework throughout. Entry from the terrace brings you to the the lower floor, which has a sitting and dining area with wood-burning fire and television with movie library; and a well-equipped kitchen with gas hob, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Limited-speed free wifi is available in the communal square and not inside this house ,because of the thick stone walls.
Stairs lead up to the top floor, which is also acessible from the main drive. The entrance hallway leads to a dressing/ante-room; off this is a spacious double bedroom with large picture windows that look down the Dolo river valley. There is an ensuite bathroom with hot shower and bathtub with its own window seat. Please note that the lodge is NOT suitable for children under the age of 5.
La Stalla has an east-facing terrace that looks down the Dolo river valley. What better spot to enjoy an early breakfast as the sun rises, or a little stargazing on a balmy night?
